Jason Kelce to Join Monday Night Countdown Team

Jason Kelce will be joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football programming in his retirement, sources familiar with the move told Birds Nest Media.

While ESPN declined to comment, Birds Nest Media was able to independently confirm reports from The Athletic that Kelce would be joining the Monday Night Countdown pregame show team this fall as an analyst with industry sources. Kelce was sought after by multiple networks following his March retirement.

This is not Kelce’s first foray into broadcasting. He hosts the New Heights Podcast with his brother Travis. But this venture will mark his appearance on a major TV network broadcasting NFL games.

Kelce has become one of the most storied Philadelphia atheletes during his Hall of Fame-worthy career at center, and expressed a deep love for the city in his retirement speech at the NovaCare Complex.
