Founded in 2023, Birds Nest Media is dedicated to providing coverage of all things Philadelphia Eagles and the broader NFL. This is principally done through Birds Nest Media’s news site and the Birds Nest Podcast video series. Broadly, Birds Nest Media also covers American Football, including flag football, and will also cover major sporting events in the Philadelphia region and the United States as opportune, including the Olympic movement.
Birds Nest Media is not affiliated with the Philadelphia Eagles or the National Football League. Birds Nest Media has been credentialed to cover the major NFL broadcast networks, functions of the International Olympic Committee and the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee, as well as Saint Joseph’s University, a sponsor of the Philadelphia Eagles. Birds Nest Media has also covered the White House and the United Nations on-site when their activities have intersected with Birds Nest Media’s primary and broader coverage areas.

Joe Donahue is the Publisher and Staff Reporter for Birds Nest Media and is the host and producer of the Birds Nest Podcast. A 2015 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University with a degree in communications, he has been a lifelong Eagles fan and follower of the sport, even spending several years officiating high school football. He has been published in America Magazine, has interned with KYW-TV and has spent many years as a volunteer with the national Order of the Arrow Communications Staff; he is excited to share his passion for football with the broader Philadelphia community.
