The Eagles’ away game against the Cincinnati Bengals has been flexed to the 1 PM time slot, the NFL announced today.

The game, which will air on CBS, is yielding the 4:25 time slot to the matchup between the Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears. That game features two teams who are currently 4-2 with standout rookie quarterbacks, compared to an Eagles team that is currently 3-2 playing a currently 2-4 Bengals team that has not been playing good football.

The NFL Flexible Scheduling window opened after Week 5. While current NFL Flexible Scheduling procedures have restrictions on frequency for games to be moved to primetime, they generally allow for games to be moved between Sunday afternoon time slots without restriction. Regardless of when a game is moved to, the NFL must provide two weeks notice for a rescheduling during one of the first 17 weeks of the season.
