Eagles 2026 Season Opponents Set

With the Philadelphia Eagles clinching the NFC East title and all other division seeding locked in, the Eagles’ 2026 opponents are now finalized.

The Eagles will play the full NFC West, the full AFC South, the division winners of each of the NFC conferences outside of the NFC West, and will also play the Pittsburgh Steelers from the AFC North.

The NFL employs a formulaic approach to setting the teams each year. The Eagles play each of their division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Washington Commanders, twice per season, hosting once and traveling once. The Eagles also play each team from two other divisions once during the year, hosting two of the teams in the division and traveling for the other two teams. For the Eagles and the other NFC East teams, they will play the NFC West and the AFC South teams. The Eagles are slated to host the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks from the NFC West, traveling to the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals. For the AFC South, they will host the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts while traveling to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.

For teams from other divisions that they will play, those teams finished in their divisions in placing that mirrors the Eagles’ placing in the previous season. Since the Eagles finished at the top of the NFC East in 2025, they will play the division winners from the NFC North and South, the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers, respectively. One of these games is at home while the other is away.

When the NFL expanded to an 18 week season in 2021, the league added a rotating division from the opposing conference under the same rules as the other teams from the same conference. For the Eagles, their 2026 AFC conference under this expansion is the AFC North, which means that the Eagles play the AFC North division winner from the 2025 season. That makes the Eagles’ final 2026 opponent the Pittsburgh Steelers. This alternates between hosting and traveling each year, so the Eagles will have this game at home.
