Eagles to Play Divisional Round on Sunday at 3 PM
The Philadelphia Eagles will play their Divisional Round game on Sunday, January 19, at 3 PM.
The NFL released the schedule of all Divisional Round matchups following the Washington Commanders’ victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night. Divisional Round games are played on Saturday and Sunday, January 18 and 19, 2025. With the Eagles’ victory over the Green Bay Packers earlier in the day, the Commanders are set to play the Detroit Lions, while the Eagles await the victor of Monday’s matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams.
The NFL re-seeds following the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, which means that the Lions, who were on the bye week, were always going to play the worst-remaining team. With the Eagles’ victory over the Packers, there was no scenario where the Eagles could play the Commanders, who were seeded at number 6 overall.
The Lions will play the Commanders on Saturday, January 18 at 8 PM on FOX Sports. On the AFC side of the bracket, the games open up with the Houston Texans traveling to the Kansas City Chiefs at 4:30 PM on Saturday, January 18, airing on ESPN and ABC. The Divisional Round closes out with a highly-anticipated matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 19, at 6:30 PM, airing on CBS.
The winners of these games will play in the conference championship round on Sunday, January 26. The NFC Championship Game will air at 3 PM on FOX Sports. The AFC Championship Game will air at 6:30 PM on CBS.
Super Bowl LIX will air on FOX Sports on February 9, 2025.
