Jordan Davis Earns NFC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Eagles DT Jordan Davis became the first player in franchise history to earn NFC Player of the Week honors for both defense and special teams in the same season as he earns defensive player of the week honors for his Week 11 performance, the team confirmed this afternoon.
Davis had one combined tackle and three pass breakups in the Eagles’ matchup against the Detroit Lions. The first of those three pass breakups led to an interception by Cooper DeJean early in the game.
Davis earned special teams player of the week honors earlier in the season following the Eagles’ Week 3 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Davis blocked what would have been a game-winning field goal by Joshua Karty, returning it for a touchdown.
