Eagles Look To Rebound Against Seahawks

The Eagles head out to Lumen Field to take on the Seattle Seahawks.

The Eagles lost the last two games in blowout fashion, and are looking to rebound this week. The Eagles took several actions this week, including assigning Matt Patricia the defensive playcalling responsibilities, effectively demoting Defensive Coordinator Sean Desai. The Eagles clinched a playoff spot on Sunday amid the shakeup after the right combination of teams lost. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are on a four game losing streak and hoping to stay in the running for a playoff spot themselves.

Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM ET. Live game footage airs on ESPN and ABC with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

  • CB Darius Slay
  • RB Rashaad Penny

Hurts was downgraded to questionable after an unspecified illness kept him out of practice on Saturday, but he is expected to play. Slay underwent surgery for his knee and will likely be out for several games.

The only other Eagle to have formal restrictions on practice time due to an injury was S Reed Blankenship (Concussion), who was limited in practice on Thursday. He is likely to play against Seattle. (DE Josh Sweat was absent from practice on Saturday for personal reasons.)

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks listed the following players as inactive:

  • WR Dee Eskridge
  • CB Devon Witherspoon
  • RB Kenny McIntosh

Smith was limited in practice all week, but absent something happening is available to play tonight. Adams, Bellore, and Witherspoon did not participate at all and it is unlikely they will play. Eskridge began the week limited in practice on Thursday but did not participate in practice on Friday or Saturday.

The Seahawks’ report was littered with players but everyone else is slated to play.
