Eagles Open At Home Against Falcons
The Philadelphia Eagles have returned from Brazil and hope to build on their 1-0 start to the season by defeating the Atlanta Falcons in the Eagles first game at Lincoln Financial Field of the season.
Both sides of the ball had struggles last week, but both sides of the ball found huge success. The Eagles nabbed over 400 total yards on offense in the opener against the Packers. The team was able to come away with a crucial win to start the season, and are 6-1 in the last seven games that have occurred during weeks 1 or 2.
The Eagles have played Falcons QB Kirk Cousins in each of the last two seasons during Week 2 in primetime, and won both of the last two outings. Cousins has historically struggled in primetime and did not have the best performance in Week 1, with just 155 passing yards. The Falcons lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week despite Pittsburgh not scoring a single touchdown in the game.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM ET. Live game footage airs on ESPN and ABC with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

Injury Report, Inactives, and Player News
Philadelphia Eagles
The following players are inactive for the Eagles:
- TBA 90 Minutes Before Kickoff
The following players were listed on the Eagles’ injury report:
- WR AJ Brown (Hamstring) – Out
- WR Johnny Wilson (Hamstring) – Questionable
Brown was a relative surprise on the injury report, as he was not on it on Thursday and was limited in practice on Friday. Brown’s absence comes after not participating at all on Saturday’s practice. Wilson was also a late addition, not participating at all on Saturday. The report leaves the Eagles a little thin at wide receiver and they may elevate someone from the practice squad or give some of the other receivers looks.
Other players had various statuses throughout the week but are likely to suit up for the game.
Atlanta Falcons

The following players were listed on the Falcons’ injury report:
