Eagles and Chiefs Face Off In Monday Night Football
The 8-1 Eagles travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the 7-2 Kansas City Chiefs.
This is the ninth time in NFL history that teams from the previous year’s Super Bowl faced off in the subsequent season, the first time since the New England Patriots faced off against the Atlanta Falcons in 2017 after the Patriots won Super Bowl LI the season prior. Both teams are off of the bye, both teams are atop their conferences, and both teams are strong playoff contenders. This is a primetime game that most NFL fans have had circled on their calendars since May’s schedule release.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM ET. Live game footage airs on ESPN and ABC with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call, and the game will be covered by the ManningCast on ESPN2 with Peyton and Eli Manning calling the game.

Injury Report, Inactives, and Player News
Official inactive reports are released 90 minutes before each game. This post will be updated with that information once the information is available.
Philadelphia Eagles
The following players are inactive for Week 11:
- QB Tanner McKee (Emergency 3rd QB)
- RB Rashaad Penny
- DT Moro Ojomo
- G Sua Opeta
- TE Dallas Goedert
- DE Derek Barnett
The Eagles listed the following three players as out for Sunday’s game:
- TE Dallas Goedert (Forearm)
- S Justin Evans (Knee)
- DE Derek Barnett (Not Injury Related – Personal)
Goedert is not formally on injured reserve as it is apparent the Eagles hope he will return before the minimum four weeks. Justin Evans, meanwhile, was on injured reserve but had his 21-day practice window opened earlier this week. He was limited in practice for the most part this week but was ruled out against Kansas City; he remains eligible to return against Buffalo and San Francisco. It is unclear why Barnett will miss the game beyond unspecified personal reasons, but the downgrade occurred following the mandatory injury report release time of 4 PM two days before gamey.
The Eagles also listed TE Grant Calcaterra (Concussion), G/C Cam Jurgens (Foot), and CB Bradley Roby (Shoulder) on the injury report, but all were full participants on Saturday and are expected to play on Monday night.
Kansas City Chiefs
The following players are inactive for Week 11:
- WR Richie James
- DE BJ Thompson
- OL Mike Callendo
- DT Neil Farrell
- DE Malik Herring
The Chiefs, though they had a laundry list of players appear on the injury report this week, do not expect any players to be out due to injury as all were full participants in practice throughout the week.
