Eagles to Host Packers in Wild Card Round
The Philadelphia Eagles are hosting the Green Bay Packers as they start their playoff push in the Wild Card round.
The game is likely to feature strong defensive performances from both teams. The Eagles had the league’s best defense in the regular season, while the Packers were top-five in defense. The Packers will be playing without Christian Watson, who suffered an ACL injury and is out for the season. The Eagles will see Jalen Hurts return to play after missing a month of game action due to a concussion.
The game is a rematch of their season opener in Brazil. The Eagles won that game 34-29. The Eagles are 2-1 against the Packers in the postseason, but the Packers are 27-17 when facing the Eagles all-time in the regular season.
Kickoff is at 4:30 PM on FOX Sports, but may be adjusted depending on the length of the matchup between the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills which kicked off at 1 PM ET. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady are on the call for the network. The Eagles are wearing their midnight green jerseys with white pants. The Packers are wearing white.

Unlike the Eagles, the Packers played for a higher seed last week so they played most of their starters, which cost them Watson. Watson is the Packer’s best deep threat, so his absence will limit QB Jordan Love’s options.
