Eagles Schedule to be Released May 14

The Eagles’ path to defend their Super Bowl Championship will be finalized and released on May 14.

As announced at the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, the NFL will release the full 2025 season schedule that evening. The announcement will likely be preceded during the day by select primetime game announcements, as has been the custom for the preceding few years.

While the Eagles have known their opponents for the last several months, including which opponents will be home and away opponents, the exact dates the Eagles will play them has not been known. With no international games on the Eagles’ docket this season, the only date that is locked in is a home game on September 4, 2025, when the Eagles will kick off the 2025 NFL Season. The honor of hosting the first game of the season always goes to the reigning Super Bowl champions.

The schedule release is widely considered to be the “Super Bowl” for each team’s social media crews, as each team releases a video summary. In past seasons, the Eagles highlighted the dogs owned by team personnel, and themed the 2024 release video around a psychological analysis of Eagles fans.

Other teams of note include the Tennessee Titans, who asked people on Broadway in Nashville TN to match logos to team names, with hilarious results.

The San Diego Chargers have also done solid videos through the last few seasons.

It remains to be seen what the Eagles have planned for this year’s release, but once the fun of the release elapses, the Eagles will have to lock in to defend their Lombardi Trophy.
